Overview

This website is operated by La Maison des Trouvailles, operated by an individual sole proprietor ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to everyone who visits the site or buys from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to the policies they refer to, including our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products.

Section 1 – Eligibility and age

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to place an order. By using the site or placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. You may not use the site or our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any law, and you must not transmit viruses or other harmful code.

Section 2 – General conditions

We may refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason. Payment information is processed by our payment providers over encrypted connections. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or resell any part of the site without our written permission.

Section 3 – Accuracy of information

We aim to describe products, options, pricing and availability accurately, but information on the site may occasionally be incomplete or out of date. Product colors and appearance can vary slightly by screen, lighting, manufacturing batch or supplier photography.

Section 4 – Changes to the service and prices

Prices and availability may change without notice. We may modify or discontinue products or parts of the site at any time.

Section 5 – Products and final sale

Quantities may be limited. We may limit sales or quantities, or discontinue products, at our discretion. No products are currently sold as final sale. If an item is designated final sale in the future, this will be stated clearly on its product page before purchase.

Section 6 – Orders, cancellations and billing

An order is not final until we accept it for processing. We may cancel or limit an order because of inventory issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment problems, shipping restrictions (including addresses outside our shipping area) or other legitimate operational reasons. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount paid to the original payment method.

You may request a cancellation by emailing support@lamaisondestrouvailles.com. Cancellations are available only before fulfillment begins. Once an order has entered fulfillment, we may not be able to cancel it, but you may request a return after delivery under our Refund Policy. You agree to provide accurate purchase and account information.

Section 7 – Shipping

We ship only to addresses in the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Free Standard Shipping applies to eligible orders, and we do not offer express shipping. Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Processing time is not delivery time, and we do not promise a delivery time. Details are in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Section 8 – Returns, refunds and exchanges

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We do not offer a separate exchange program.

Section 9 – Optional tools and third-party services

We may use third-party services for e-commerce, payments, fulfillment, reviews, analytics, communications and other functions. Some features may be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices.

Section 11 – Feedback and submissions

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Section 13 – Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

We may correct errors in pricing, product descriptions or availability, and we may cancel orders affected by such errors, including after an order has been submitted. If we cancel a paid order for this reason, we will refund the amount paid.

Section 14 – Prohibited uses

You may not use the site for unlawful purposes, to infringe intellectual property, to harass others, to submit false information, to upload malicious code, to scrape the site or to interfere with its security.

Section 15 – Intellectual property

Store branding, original copy, design elements and other content owned by La Maison des Trouvailles may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without permission, except where applicable law allows.

Section 16 – Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", except for any warranties that cannot be excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, La Maison des Trouvailles is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Section 17 – Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Section 18 – Termination

These Terms apply until terminated by you or us. We may suspend access to the site if you breach these Terms.

Section 19 – Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.

Section 20 – Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States. Nothing in this section limits any consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of the place where you live.
